The Broadway revival of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal features a star studded cast. The current James Bond, Daniel Craig, joins Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz and Olivier nominee Rafe Spall to round out the cast of this theatrical production.
Real-life couple Weisz and Craig plays married couple Emma and Robert, and Spall plays Robert’s best friend Jerry. Robert is a publisher, and Spall is a literary agent. Emma has been having an affair with Spall, who is also married, for seven years. The play occurs in reverse order starting in 1977 and ending in 1968, revealing the overall complexity of emotions between all three characters.
Betrayal is produced by Tony Award-winning producer Scott Rudin, and Tony and Academy Award-winning Mike Nichols will direct.
Betrayal will only run for a limited, 14-week engagement from November 3, 2013, through January 5, 2014. Get tickets to the show before it leaves the stage!
