The Sundance Film Festival starts in little over a week (January 16-26) in Park City, Utah, and it attracts movie stars, industry veterans and film buffs alike. Music lovers, however, can also find a reason to head to the festival – well, at least at night. The Park City Live Concert Series occurs every night of the film festival, and it will feature well-known artists, including O.A.R., Ludacris, Kaskade, Nervo and Steve Aoki.
The exclusive media partner for this event is Billboard, known for its music news and music sales charts. Billboard will host interviews inside the Sonos Home Theater Lounge, speaking with celebrities and artists. Other events taking place include a Park City Live (PCL) Day Lounge and an interactive club.
“With so many parallels between music and entertainment, Sundance is the perfect place to bring the synergy to life for a targeted audience of influential tastemakers,” says John Amato, Billboard’s president. “This is a first for Billboard, which is expanding beyond the endemic music event space and bringing live music experiences, matched with its authority and access, to major cultural events.”
The Park City Live venue is located at 427 Main Street in Park City, Utah. View the full event schedule here. Can’t make it to the event? Well, you can still see your favorite artists when they come to a town near you by purchasing concert tickets at TicketRoundUp.com.
